Visit Book PleaseIndependent software development · Consulting
We build useful software.
Hekman Technology Consulting is a development group creating our own applications and helping people turn good ideas into dependable software.
Read and listen in one place
Use built-in EPUB and audiobook controls. Listening and reading progress stays in step with manual updates, book profiles, and reading history.
Add a whole shelf at once
Take a photo of a stack or shelf, or paste a book-list link. Review the matches and choose where each book goes in your library.
Remember the story so far
With an EPUB attached, get a searchable AI guide to characters and places that grows as you read, for quick reminders without spoilers.
Keep notes that mean something
Save a note on a specific book and tag it—for example, “My sister recommended this” tagged “friend referral.” Fun fact: my sister suggested this feature.
Share a profile on your terms
Show detailed stats, custom lists, reading history, and automatic Books of the Month. Turn any profile section off whenever you like.
Your library stays yours
Your book library lives in your own Google Drive. Connect Claude or ChatGPT to work with your reading data on your terms.
Choose what to read next
Set a priority for books on your Want to Read shelf and bring your most tempting picks to the top.
Find books your way
Combine detailed filters for status, tags, moods, formats, ratings, dates, reviews, and more.
Make the app yours
Personal settings give you control over the look and behavior of Book Please and its many features.
Keep big results manageable
Expand the search results you want to explore and tuck the rest away.
All the tracker essentials
Set goals, take on challenges, explore stats and reading history, scan a book’s ISBN barcode, and follow friends.
